like dots on the map
of my misery
connecting dots of my regrets
tracing all the places
I have been
treading all the loneliness
I've gone through
reminding me from time to time
every stain I've got
into my conscience
and like the old cliche
about healing wounds
the scars remain

i can't contain this blue
why should the days be harsh
and the nights so cold?
no stars blanket me
in the black of the night
and my heart keeps pumping
tears in black and white
the melody is pink
it's lacking blood
there's no warmth
in the brown
of this barren land.
